Hi! Since yesterday, I feel a pulse in my right ear. All the ear doctors are closed. There’s only one open. They aren’t taking new patients. They told me to go to urgent care. Did anyone ever have this before?

Thanks for reaching out to me. My city is on stay at home orders. All the doctors offices are closed. When the virus is gone, I will go see the ear doctor. Take care!

Hi Flowers, I have also experienced this in the past & also during times of stress. Mine has occurred off and on over the years. But it never lasted more than a few minutes I don’t think. It may also be that I became distracted & didn’t notice it longer. Can you call your doctor and ask her/him what they suggest you do & if it’s anything urgent? I’m in the U.S. & doubt this virus will be under control here for months. That’s a long time to wait if it’s serious. Good luck with what you do. Katie

Hi Flowers, I too have had this, and like the others, at times of stress.....which this certainly is! Take care, maybe try some relaxation techniques, and get it checked if it persists. Here in the UK I can still get telephone appointments with my doctor, but as it has never persisted for long I have never bothered getting it checked out. Keep safe, x

Hi Flowers. For me hearing my pulse is a sign of anaemia but as we are all stressed at the moment it could well be that. From my experience there is little that can be done about it except turning on the radio/music etc to camouflage it! If you can, speak to a medical professional about this as at least they can help reduce your stress about it.

May not be much use but yes I had that symptom intermittently for weeks. I have ET. It stopped eventually without any treatment.I had mentioned it to my haemotologist but he never responded so I assumed it was a something which would go away

Hey, I don't think it is any serious problem though. I also feel the pulse in my ear so many times but never thought of getting it checked with the doctor. I hope it will be not serious for you too. But if you're feeling same for a long time and also having pain or other symptoms that are making you more worried then it is better to get checked asap.

If there are not ear doctor available then you can seek for online consultation or fix your appointment with ear doctors online.

Best of luck!
