I wanted to know if anyone had any recent updates about using the CRISPR CAS 9 gene editing tool to address jak 2 positive Polycythemia Vera. Are there any clinical trials going on with this new tech ?

Nope, but there are some other good news about PV research:
« In summary, our results suggest that DUSP1 addiction in the early stages of PV offers not only insights into the unique pathobiology, but also a potential therapeutic target, as inhibition of DUSP1 leading to JNK/p38MAPK hyperactivation may provide a strategy for elimination of the cycling JAK2V617F+ progenitors »

Thankyou for sending the link. Plan to read it over the next 3-4 days in careful detail. This work is being done in the Czech Republic as I can see. Is the only group working on this or are there others that you would know of ?
Regards.
What about this one ?:
« Loss of DUSP1 Is Synthetic Lethal to JAK2V617F »
... « Thus, providing a rationale for targeting the Dusp1 in Jak2 mutated MPNs to eliminate the mutant clones and cure the disease. »
