The connection between MPNs and inflammation
This is interesting to me because I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in my 30’s, arthritis in both hips in my 40’s, and ET at age 52. I wonder now if there was ever any connection.
Yep. I've dealt with joint pains off and on for 10 years until about a year ago the joint pain came and it never left as well as muscle pain and bone pain. It felt like I had the flu all the time. I also had fevers about 4 times a week. My doctor put me on Cymbalta and the pain has greatly improved. I still don't know if it was fibromyalgia or the ET or a combination...but it was ruining my life. And oh yeah...I just turned 42 and the hip pain was starting for me too before the Cymbalta.
Interesting article. Thank you for posting
Thanks for posting. I wish I understood more, but for sure I have suffered from various joint problems for a number of years -worst have been my hips, but this issue seems to have significantly improved.
I've always wondered what inflammation looks like inside the body. I can understand a wound that has become inflamed. Can anyone explain?
I need a medical dictionary to understand these medical terms
