Is it possible for someone to be JakV167 possitive, 3 years after initial mutation test was: JakV167 negative?

Mutations keep on happening, and I guess its quite possible to acquire the JAK2 mutation after tbe first diagnosis . Or maybe the later test was more sensitve.

Yes! I am negative for all mutations but my doctors have said they suspect they will find one eventually.

Im Jak2 negative polycythemia. I read a story about someone who was negative at her gp then went to Hemotologist who found her positive she talked about some tests being more sensitive. I’m going to get the Jak2 done at a different lab! Good luck!

Hi, I have had ET for six years now since I was 39. I have asked my doctor if I can have a medical exemption card years ago with no luck.

Am I entitled to this? I have been paying for prescriptions for years now and it would really help.
