Does anyone else have really itchy moles? Mine are driving me crazy at the minute. Not sure if it’s mpn related or if I should be concerned about skin cancer developing. They are worse where clothes rub. They haven’t changed in colour/size and they don’t look sinister just unbearabley itchy like an insect bite you have to scratch!

I have solar ketosis (sun damage) which appear as light coloured raised freckles that itch like crazy. My doctor says they keep growing/spreading but are nothing to fear. He successfully burnt them off with liquid nitrogen (wart removal stuff).
I have had 1 itchy mole that just recently died & fell off by itself.
Was on hydroxyurea for 3 years and interferon last 2 years.

I would definitely get it checked by a dermatologist. Not everything is caused by our mpns.
Definitely get it checked just in case. My husband’s coworker had a normal looking itchy mole and it ended up being melanoma.
I’m seeing haematologist on Wednesday so I’ll mention it to him. Thanks xx
