Ruxo and diarrhea

Has anyone else on Ruxo had really bad diarrhoea? Since being on it I have had regular bouts of “ the runs” and have had to take Imodium.

I have felt so much better in all other respects on the Ruxo and don’t want to have to stop using it.

Hi, no I have the complete opposite on Ruxolitinib (Jakavi), have to take daily Movicol.

I think I would rather have your problem- I had a horrid plane trip yesterday to the South of France running to the loo all the time until the Imodium kicked in!

Thank you so much - at the moment tucking into a cous cous - hoping it won’t make

me worse! Still knocking back the Imodium .....

Not sure if it would help but maybe cutting down foods that aid toilet use. Maybe you don’t need fibre anymore. Please note I’m not a dietician.

I have tried low fibre and no fibre - bland foods - no dairy - nothing seems to work! Thanks for your input .

Hi Skipper. When I had my histamine problem, there were various meds that caused me diarrhea. It is horrific being out somewhere. I remember cancelling events and visits because it could go at any time. Once I go on the AutoImmune Paleo diet, that all went away. I basically fixed up my gut. : )

I shall certainly try that - although there doesn’t seem to be a pattern to my problem - I have kept food diaries but can’t find any root cause - maybe stress also has an effect. Thanks for your input.
