Same here was at GPs in December having steroid injection in my a Thumb , , I’ve got Arthritis in my joints 😱
I will not give in tho ❤️
I’m having steroid injections into my right foot and both ankles at hospital next week. Hoping for some relief. As you say, we can’t give in x

Mine took about 3 weeks to improve

Yes been having them for years but they don’t work as well these days. They want me to have an op to fuse the bones in my foot but I don’t want it done. I would be off my feet for months and it doesn’t always work x
Oooo goodness sounds a lot worse than mine , , I hope it works out this time for you x
I have a frozen hip since I had children tho , aches slit
But nothing as painful as my thumbs .
They jump out it’s horrible x
What we like I’m sure having ET has
Made it worse over the last 5 years x

Regarding your thumbs I’ve never experienced pain like it having the injection Jesus it was horrible x
It’s helping but not a lot x
Dr said you won’t be wanting the other on done now
I said to him all I want do now is hit YOU , not pleasant at all x
Poor you do you take anything for it

Hi, I would definitely recommend the op for your thumbs if that is possible and your arthritis damage which sounds as severe as mine. I’ve had cortisone jabs in most places🙀🙀but the worst I’ve endured are in my heels. I was petrified that I would kick my gp. I think I concentrate on slow breathing when I know the needle is coming, try to relax and concentrate on the breathing. This seems to help. It’s like a very light hypnotic state I think or my imagination- but it works for me! Hope you get relief from the pain soon. Kindest regards Aime xx😻😻😸😸
