Yes been having them for years but they don’t work as well these days. They want me to have an op to fuse the bones in my foot but I don’t want it done. I would be off my feet for months and it doesn’t always work x
Hi Pam, I had both thumbs operated on a few years ago due to osteoarthritis leaving no cartilage at all, bone was rubbing on bone, so every sympathy. It’s a sore op but worthwhile.xx Aime 😺😺
Hi, I would definitely recommend the op for your thumbs if that is possible and your arthritis damage which sounds as severe as mine. I’ve had cortisone jabs in most places🙀🙀but the worst I’ve endured are in my heels. I was petrified that I would kick my gp. I think I concentrate on slow breathing when I know the needle is coming, try to relax and concentrate on the breathing. This seems to help. It’s like a very light hypnotic state I think or my imagination- but it works for me! Hope you get relief from the pain soon. Kindest regards Aime xx😻😻😸😸
