Pegasys side effects

Hi does anyone who takes Pegasys experience occasional numbness tingling sensations all over? I do suffer with terrible back knots, pinched nerves but since starting this treatment noticed this sensation allot more thanks

I’ve been on Pegasys over 3 years and haven’t had that sensation.

I get some numbness in fingers and toes but I had that before starting Peg so I don’t think it’s linked.

I think you need to drink more when taking Pegasys. Lack of hydration may be contributing to your issues?

I had significant cramping but stretching has made a 95% improvement. You could benefit from yoga?

I drink about 3 litres a day am a nurse so it tends to be when am on nightshift so wonder if it’s tirdness related. And yeah I deffo want to try yoga 🧘‍♀️ thank you

Yes about 4 weeks into treatment with Pegasys I started having very odd tingling sensations from head to foot. I can only describe it being like Christmas Tree lights on an intermittent flashing setting - most peculiar. It was becoming so unpleasant I was about to contact my consultant when it abruptly stopped - lasted about 6 weeks.

The consultant seemed to know exactly what I was describing when I went to my next appointment (thankfully it having stopped by then) so presumably had heard this before. I had escaped other flu like side effects described by other people. I hope it wears off shortly for you too.

Thank you yeah apart from this I have been ok 👌🏽 hopefully will ease off
