It is really big here. There are special freezers just for the bones in a lot of the grocery stores now. Made my own, not so good. Did expect wonders to happen when I drank it....

Now I go to my local Pho restaurant and drink theirs.

I now make lots of bone broth, chicken, beef, lamb, duck. I purchase organic bones from suppliers which you can find on the Internet. I boil the bones in slow cooker for 24 hours with a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Bone broth is very nourishing and imparts a deep flavour when added to recipes as a stock. Cooking bones this way is said to release collagen and I haven't had any problems with joints for a while now, my right hip is almost trouble free. Don't know if it is due to bone broth, though, I also take mineral supplements and do running and yoga.
