Hi, I have ET over 20 years and now PV with hight hct 49 ,I'm on venosection monthly ,but now I will be start 2 times monthly and I start with Roteferon A 3 ui weakly, I had my 4 Roteferon before 2 days , and I first time fill palpitations after 7 hour of my injection , I fill palpitations about 5 hours was constantly about 110-120 in 1 minut , end next morning still was 90 . First time , second time and third time I filing only flu simptom. I really scare , and don't now for next weak take or not . My appointment with hem. Is for 4 weaks . Please anyone have same experience , or maybe Pegassy is beta to tolerance . Thankse Lilly!

I’ve no experience with Roteferon. I’m on Pegasys. I had an increased heart rate of 122 b/m with venesections, due to the gradual lowering of my HCT.

Hi Lilly, I also have PV and am on Pegasys interferon. The side effects are much lower than with normal interferon: I currently have no side effects at all. I suggest you contact your haematologist and tell them about your symptoms. I would also ask if they can put you on Pegasys instead, given the bad side-effects from Roferon. Good luck! Susana
