Once again hi everyone.

Started with laryngitis on Friday, had a tickle cough since.

My fingers are stiff in the mornings.

Feel tired last couple of days.

Any suggestions?

Hi Roger 41, ET sufferers often get tired (unfortunately), my fingers are stiff but that is due to arthritis. Have a word with the pharmacist, the one in my local chemist is very good, if he/she thinks you should see the doctor call them again and tell them that. I find the best thing for a sore throat is sipping a glass of honey with warm lemonade in it. It is a bit scary when first diagnosed, and we all tend to blame every ache and pain on the ET but often it's just "normal" illnesses that we'd get anyway. I have the flu jab, on the recommendation of my haematologist as the medication can lower your immune system. Hope you're soon feeling better.

I am a type two Diabetis too, I am restricted to what I can use.

Managed to see my doctor to day. Had a long chat with him.

Has prescribed some short term antibiotics and took blood.

Spent some time finding out how I was feeling.

This was so positive.

There is a primary registrar who is interested in family genetics.

Has made an appointment for me.

I feel more positive.
