I have ET jak2 pos dx two years ago. I have suddenly got a rather large lump under my jaw on the right hand side of my neck/throat area and worried.... it is big and visible? Is it cancer or something else sinister.

Hi Kyls, sorry to hear of your worrying find. The best thing to do is not to delay getting a medical opinion as until you do you will worry yourself sick (because you're human). The worry just makes things worse and will make you ill. For all you know, it may be something simple and not serious but until you find out, you will be worried sick.

HI Kyls, not a nice thing to find, but I'm with Aime on this one. The sooner you get yourself off to a doctor the sooner you'll be able to put your mind at ease. Could be something as simple as a swollen gland in your neck. It's hard I know, but please try not to worry yourself in the meantime. Sending e hugs your way. Liz xx

It's probably something like a swollen gland but have it checked by a doctor. X

Get it checked by a doctor and then you will know what exactly you are confronting. Fear can be defined as False Expectations Appearing Real. Always best to know rather than live in fear. Good luck xx
