Hi everyone, I've not posted for a long time but I do read all your posts which gives me so much support. I was just wondering if anyone knows how many people have ET in the UK??

No idea Kizzy, but I am another new one.
I'm not sure where those statistics would be available. I guess we could ask our GPs.
Kind regards,
Marcia
Hi Kizzy, there are approximately 650 new patients diagnosed per annum. Maz
fingers crossed that you get the busiest night. Maz x
I always wonder if anyone else in the waiting room has ET, of course being British I don't ask!! 😱😄

I would love to know as well, as I have ET as well.

I read that we are .04% of the general population - a very exclusive club indeed. We should get t-shirts.
Yeah!! T-shirts we should!! 😀
Thank you for this info, I was just curious and Maz has said about 650 per annum are diagnosed but I'm not sure if that's uk or what world wide would be !!🤔
I think the .04% is global. I'm in the states, so obviously I can't do the math and figure all that out. I'll leave it to you and Maz!
I was diagnosed with ET January 2016.
Not really relevant but interesting.
I read in the Telegraph at the weekend that Roald Dahl had myleo fibrosis (MF) .
