Et progression to Mf
All your lines...red cells, white cells, platelets will all go down in count. Possibly enlarged spleen.....more physical symptoms.......
. Please can you explain about the other physical symptoms of ET transferring to MF. For four months now I have had a distended upper abdomen and severe itching. II now keep getting a very red face and my last blood counts have gone down. My haem sent me for an ultrasound, which I had Sunday.
Your haematologist can advise on bloods. A bone marrow biopsy gives the definitive answer. My early symptoms of weight loss due to enlarged spleen, and severe night sweats, were also indicative that my ET had progressed to MF.
Ruxolitinib for 10 months which has been great and worked well for me.
My haem spotted signs of mutation from PV to MF on me. Red count in particular stayed at 41 instead of always being 47 + and needing venesections. Confirmation came from BMB and I take Ruxolitinib which like Mirribell, is working very well for me.
Spleen that was 24 cm is now 7 cm.
