Has anyone exerienced numbness / tingling in fingers from ET or from its treatment (HU)?

Yes I have numbness and tingling in my fingers and numbness in my toes

I also have ET and I had tingling and red warm finger tips for years, but after starting on HU it has stopped

Yes both fingers and toes. Have PV Jak2pos and on Hydroxy. Dont know which causes it.x

Hi, yes I have had numbness and tingling in fingers and toes before. It is a symptom of ET. Though since taking hydroxy and my platelet count being maintained at a normal level not really suffered from it really. Liz Cx

Good morning ET sufferers😊I have numb arms and hands most days but my Hemo says it is not ET related??? It feels like I have slept on them and cut off the blood, my wrists and hands suffer also.

My count is 700 on aspirins only.

I'm interested in your experiences !!

yes Craig, I asked about tingling, but now I can update that to numbness in my thumb and little finger (different hands); really frustrating as I play clarinet as a hobby. . .

Def only noticed it in last few months and have ET for years. I therefore assumed its HU but interesting to hear your experience.

Thanks for your reply. I am jak2+ ET also, I wonder how many others with our condition get numbness/ pins and needles type symptom. If you loose your music audience you can always play at the MPD GET TO GETHER, I'm tone deaf anyway so I'll clap👏👏👏👏Merry Christmas.

I have ET JAK2 positive and I get pins and needles type feeling on my hands and feet along with burning hands and feet too and I only take clopidogrel xxxx

Mine is in my fingers, generally left hand only and I would describe it as painful. When it's cold, I sleep with a pair of gloves on and that seems to help. Sallie
