Hi everyone my husband was diagnosed 18 months ago with P M F. At the start his platelets were 148 and enlarged spleen 19 cm was put on ruxolitini 30mg dayly now his platelets are 84 and the ruxolitinb dropped to20mg and his spleen has shrunk to approx 8cm has anyone out there been in this situation and what if any was the outcome .

Hi Kisses. It looks as though the ruxolitinib is doing its job with your husband. I was told not to worry about platelets until below 50. (quite an adjustment for me as I've spent many years trying to get them below 600 on other meds!) It sounds like he has already had the dose adjusted so they are keeping an eye on things. Hope he continues to do well.
