Hi Barrphine, sorry to hear that you are suffering with this severe pain, have you discussed this with your haematologist or GP? It would be advisable to report this pain to them. Maz

Hi, as i suffer from n/h lymphoma, i have regular visits to my local haematologist, & am waiting for an "ultra sound scan" in connection with an enlarged spleen.

Can my severe shoulder & arm pain be a symptom of an enlarged spleen?

Hi barrphine, as far as I know, inflammation of the bone marrow can cause this...

I have regular moments with this myself but its random so I have no logical reason as to when and were.. I have it in my right elbow at the moment and the pain draws its way towards my wrist... it never gets their but the pain drives harder and harder... then a mild break...

Most of our cells are being over or under (MF) produced around our hip area, but as far as I can tell its not limited to that area.

Speak to your haematology staff for advice.. they should b able to give you sound advice.

I really hope u get better answers than I just gave. God bless,

Geoff
