My Wife has et for about 6yrs,now got swelling in left leg ,Doctor sent her to hospital,result was Venous Insufficiency that was a week ago,

Hi elcid, is the swollen area painful red and hot to touch? If so a trip to A&E is a good idea. I hope your wife improves fast and diagnosed with clarity.

dial 111 and get their advice, they should have an algorithm for suspected DVT etc
