how did you cope with the closing ceremony and all the flashing lights? i had to switch off to avoid a migraine!!!

I watched for a while but then went to my bed! It's not just flashing lights I have a problem with but really any TV is an irritation. :)

I also had to switch it off! It wasn't just the flashing lights (which were quite artistic, I thought), it was the loud music and aggressive beat. When they announced "A symphony of British Music", I was expecting something more classical, like Last Night of the Proms! I was recovering from a migraine at the time, so it's not surprising I found it too loud and brash :(
