I’ve had migraines for a number of years but recently they have increased and I’m also getting headaches in between , I do get random tingles down one side of my head and face that I thought were unrelated but b4 my last migraine which was particularly bad the tingles happened , I got the tingles yesterday and think I have another migraine coming on . My question is should I be worried about these tingles and should I be worried that after years of migraines they are now coming with aura ?

I don’t think it’s anything unusual, but you can speak to your doctor for reassurance. Similarly I have had migraines (pain and vomiting) for over 20 years and last month had my first visual aura, which was quite scary as I partially lost vision and saw shimmering patterns. I went to the doctor but she didn’t think there was anything strange about that as migraines can change over time.
I’ve had migraines with aura since I was 14, I’m now 53. In the last 2 years, they have changed from episodic to chronic migraines and I now have migraines without aura as well as migraines with aura (and new symptoms, headaches most days etc). I would say your change in migraine isn’t anything to worry about but it’s always worth seeing your doctor and checking it out. Years ago my auras changed and my GP referred me to an eye hospital and a neurologist to check nothing new was happening, which put my mind at rest.
