Has anyone tried Vyepti?

My neurologist wants me to try Vyepti for migraine prevention. I tried Qulipta and it’s helping, but I’m still suffering. She says the Vyepti is the same class of drug, same side effects, but it’s a lot stronger so she believes it will do a better job at preventing migraines. I’m nervous about trying it because it’s a transfusion that’s given every three months.

Just a note to say - both these have not been approved to treat migraine in the UK . They are under review.

Yes indeed, hope it will be made available to all eligible and not remain available just on paper. It's a drip into a vein, so most likely hospital visit is required every 3 months.

We have infusion clinics in the US, so you don't have to go to the hospital for some treatments.

I am waiting to get Vyepti as soon as my neurologist can access it hopefully in a couple of weeks . Has anyone found it reduced their migraine as I know it has being available in UK.I would be very thankful if anyone could tell me if they found it of any benefit.195fifi (Ireland)
