Sorry, no, can't help on the drug .... I discovered cheese was causing mine, so I just stopped eating cheese and cut out dairy milk. I used to get lots of visual disturbances or aura, with no headache, or very minor headache afterwards if I had two or three episodes in the same day.

Hi! There used to be a lady on here that said if you have aura migraines without headaches you should speak to your Dr. I spoke to mine and she put me on aspirin because aura migraine without headache could mean you are at risk of a heart attack or stroke. I used to suffer really badly with migraines but they have now changed. I may get a headache that won’t go for a couple of days and all of a sudden I had aura migraines without pain. I had a mild one a few weeks ago. Instead of going right across my eyes it was just a crystal like arch.

You can take it (Pizotifen) for migraine aura with or without headache but there is no guarantee that it will work! Perhaps 1.5mg / day is best to start with.

Pizotifen does help and I also take low dose aspirin but hate the side effects of Pizotifen..l.would prefer to find a solution without medication,

Hi there! I suffer hemiplegic migraine and sometimes just have the aura which looks like Bell’s palsy and stroke like symptoms. Since taking sibelium 5 mg 5 out of 7 days a week, I have regained my life! Sibelium also known as flunarazine. Dr Edward O’Sullivan is my dr. Migraine specialist here in Ireland and uk. He’s amazing

Hi. I used to have chronic silent migraine. It was really bad. No headache, but like travel sickness. Was eventually diagnosed as migraine and put on Flunarizone and HRT. Worked really well, was able to get back to work. Came off Flunarizine gradually after 2 years. No migraine. Still on HRT patches, too scared to come off them.
