Just before the quarantine, I signed up to Pharmacy2U and recently I ordered my Sumatriptans (50mg) from them. They turned up over the weekend, and they seem different from the ones I usually get from my Doctors.
Usually mine are from a company called Milpharm Ltd. The ones in the post are from Dr. Reddy's. They're much smaller, but other than that the box seems to say they're the same thing.
But I'm still concerned it's there anything about these new ones that I should be concerned about?
Every time I get my prescription filled and I pick it up it looks different. What I would want to know is what is in the pill and if that is the same as the other. Many companies many Imitrix/Sumatriptans, just make sure the active ingredients are the same. One company may change the color and shape of the pill, but have the same stuff in the pill.

Nothing to worry about.I take 50mg Sumatriptan and the makers vary.But they all do the same job.
Hi, I wouldn’t worry, if it says sumatriptan then it will be the same active ingredients as the other make. You could always google them to make sure and put your mind at rest.
Hello NetroPhil. If the company is shipping out of the UK, then it is legit. The worry is when you get medication shipped from an 'unknown' country. Even from the EU should be fine.
Ah yes I've seen those and did not notice them working any differently. Different pharmacies use different suppliers.
I have pills in different sizes from time to time but the are all sumatriptan 50mg. Nothing to worry about.
Different pharmacies use different suppliers and get different brands but they should essentially be the same - certainly as far as the active ingredients go. It shouldn't be a problem unless you are sensitive to a particular ingredient.
If you prefer to stick to your familiar brands it's worth ringing your usual pharmacy and asking if they can deliver to you during the current coronavirus crisis. The would probably rather do this if they can than lose a valued customer especially as community pharmacies are being squeezed out of the market by online pharmacies.
