Hello

At a meeting of one of the migraines charity a representative from the company gave a presentation on this device which seemed to provide hope! The sting in the tail was the monthly cost you currently have to pay after the initial trial was too prohibitive for me to pay! Seemed very positive but i couldn’t afford it at rental price quoted in the autumn by the company!

I’ve been on the Gammacore trial and now get this on the NHS. It’s helped a lot with intensity and also with frequency

Hi Babs1234,

How did you get the Gammacore machine through the NHS? Did your GP refer you for it? I would love to know as I'd love to try it!

Many thanks,

Clydelle

You need to ask your GP to refer you to a headache specialist. He will then put you on the Gammacore trial if you fit the criteria which is to have tried, I think it’s 5 preventatives and 3 abortives. It’s a 3 month trial and if it helps you then have to as you GP to sign saying they agree to you having it on the NHS. Good luck. X
