Night headaches

hi There! I’m looking for some advice and thoughts or opinions. For the last few months the had been this tingling sensation in my head. It lasts constant for up to a week then disappears for a while. I have also lately (last few day) been having headaches only in the lateish evening.(anytime after 7) I would like to know the reasons behind this and was hoping someone here might know? Any opinions on what is causing it or what I can do to prevent it? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I can only speak about my experience but over the past 10 years I have experienced a range of symptoms from dizziness, a fluttering sensation across the front of my forehead, migraines. Without boring you I'll cut it short but went down some very dark alleys with various consultants until I found the answer was a problem with my neck. It has caused some weird difficulties. I even thoughtI had a brain tumour at one point. I had to look far to find a physiotherapist who specialised in the Watson technique and she has been able to rectify the difficulty to a certain extent. I also practice hypnotherapy for pain relief whenever I do get a headache and between the two approaches ive managed to cut down the problem significantly. I'm not saying you have a neck problem only thst it could be. I didn't start with headaches. For about 6 yesrs I only fel weird and dizzy but you speak of tingling something could be pressing on a nerve which is exacerbated by your sleeping position. Hope you get it sorted. Your gp should be your first port of call of course.

Thank you. I have gone to chiropractor recently who gave me some excersises for my neck, also gave it a good crack. However, I have been doing my stretches and my neck is much better, my head is not. The tingling is still the same and the headaches had developed a few weeks after I went to the chiropractor. Thanks again for replying!

Have you been to see your gp to rule out anything obvious? Where did you say the tingling was?

No I haven't quite yet. I've made an appointment though. The tingling is in the back of the head. At this point, the tingling is only before, or during my headaches.
