The not so merry Merry Go Round

Between: chronic migraine; compressed lumbar vertebrae; a displaced knee cap & depression due to daily, long term chronic pain, I feel like I can't get off the Merry Go Round.

I know that everyone on here will understand, how constant migraine attacks plus chronic pain from other health problems, can destroy our lives.

I've gone through an extensive list of preventative medications. I've started block nerve injections. I've had years worth of physiotherapy. I've been attending a psychiatrist for 5 years. I practice distraction therapy, but over the last month I feel like I've taken 10 steps back.

Has anyone else experienced a slump like this?

If yes, did it pass?

Any suggestions/information gratefully received.

Kind regards, Catmag.

Hi

I’m having a bad time at the moment and hoping like you that it’s going to get better. I feel it’s hard sometimes for people to understand as they can’t see your pain. I’m also suffering from a bit of depression and anxiety which I’ve never had but started last year. This has been because of my migraines which I’ve had since I was 15 years old but as I get older they affect me more mentally. I hope you start to feel. Better I keep trying to focus on good things like holiday or anything that make you happy. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
