The best thing...

... I've seen that works for both migraines and cluster headaches without any side effects is the pure ginger extract called Migraine Escape. It's only available in Australia and New Zealand at the moment but it really is pure magic. Roll it on your forehead at the first signs of a migraine. You only need a little bit. It is absorbed pretty quickly and starts working to alieviate the pain and basically stops it from developing into a fullblown migraine. The headache pain reduces over time too, the longer you use it. I was pretty sceptical until I saw it working on a couple of my friends are migraine sufferers. The other thing is there are no harmful chemicals or side effects although it can sting a little if you put too much on, and you definitely have to avoid getting it in your eyes. Honestly, give it a try.

Sounds encouraging, I'll try anything after years of chronic migraine. How do you get hold of it?

Ye, my thoughts too at first especially cos the little rolling applicator is the size of my little finger! But when you consider the money you pay for medications and therapies and time off work, and the fact that there are enough swipes on your forehead for 22 migraines, it is a small price to pay actually. Carry it in your handbag and use it at first signs of headache.

It's not such a good deal when your healthcare is free though! If you have chronic daily migraines it's a very expensive route 😣

It does claim the more you use it the more it prevents some migraines intensity.

Be interested to see if it reduces pain but sceptical as to whether or not it's just pain transferance like most other treatments!

I'll give it a go and update when i have 👍

This is not free on the nhs, if that's what you mean. It seems pricey but that's to cover costs of the special extraction process that harvests the goodness from the whole ginger plant, not just the oil, so it's very expensive to produce. The ginger is sourced in Australia. The results have been amazing, there really is something magical in ginger.

I admit I'm not a migraine sufferer myself but I've seen it in action, one lady got relief just from smelling it. To me it's small price to pay if the migraines are reduced in intensity and frequency and so I tell everyone about it. And the other good thing, no harmful chemicals, no side effects (just the slight initial 'burn' - which is why you only use a little bit - and be careful of your whites as it's an orange colour, hard to get out).

Sounds tempting but I'm reluctant to pay $147 plus customs fees. Is there any way to get it cheaper?

I'm not sure but there may still be an offer of 3 for 2. There's also a money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. Whereabouts are you in the world? Check with Mike on their website, not sure if I'm allowed to mention it here...

As a migraine sufferer for over 40 years I am so thrilled to find Migraine Escape. It works. I woke up today in terrible pain and nausea - an hour later all gone. It is natural so doesn't leave you feeling groggy and wasted. Worth every cent!
