Migrain or cluster

Does anyone have electric shocks (that's the only way to explain wot happens) in there head that's wot I get after my migrain eventually subsidies I'd like to know if you are as it feels like I'm going mad jay

Yes shooting up to the top right hand side sometimes.

I'm new here but just wanted to say - don't feel you're going mad .As far as I can see there are a whole host of symptoms connected to migraine and I guess yours are just another horrible ( for you ) example .

If it's any comfort I'm trying to categorise what happens to me ( beginning to think it may fall into the migraine category ) and one of it's scariest symptoms could be described as electric shocks . Makes me cry out in shock .

One of the frustrating and isolating things is trying to describe symptoms . I don't find the medical profession very helpful on this front - they seem very anxious to put your symptoms in a box with which they are familar ( understandable I suppose ) and will say " oh so you feel weak and dizzy " when actually you've been describing something that bears no relation to weak and dizzy.

Thankyou for your reply you have hit the nail on the head there I always feel I've not been heard after I've seen the consultant specially when I get the letter he sent to my doctor (never said anything wot he says I said ) he gets it wronge loads them electric shocks I get in me head font make me scream out just make me jump and end up with me dinner over me ( the funny part of it ) not funny worries me wots happening in me head with no explanation from doctors now they talking about botox hate having to take pill let alone an injection with not known stuff in it but as you all know when migrain pain comes you would take anything to stop it do hope you get relief from pain jay.
