I was told so many times in the past that diet can be a trigger for migraines, I tried so many remedies for years. Nothing helped. If you suffer from migraine, first the GP. You should then be referred to a neurologist and a cardiologist. I believed what I was told regarding a cure for migraine, because of that I almost died. Please don't try anything until you have been checked out by a cardiologist first, re a PFO. I wish you well

What is a PFO?

A PFO is a hole in the heart, Perforated foramen ovale. There has been much discussion over the years regarding that. In 2010/11, the NHS provided the information which confirmed that which I stated some years ago. There are different types of migraine including exercise related migraine. We must also take into consideration the possibility of osteoporosis, especially if a person has been taking warfarin for over two years.

I wish you well and a happy and if possible a pain free 2016.

Adjustment, not perforated, it is patent foramen ovale. Treating recurrent migraine by closing a patent foramen ovale using a device inserted via the groin. The hole in my heart was too close to the valves so they went in through the chest. NHS December 2010 issue.
