I have been taking feverfew capsules (herbal remedy) as a preventative. I still get headaches but I think they are not so frequent, or so intense.

Feverfew is so easy grow (in a pot if you don't have a garden), steep some leaves in hot water to make a tea. It doesn't taste great but is a lot cheaper than buying capsules!!

Feverfew may be useful, but please ensure there are no other medical conditions or if .you are taking other medications. The Glens Falls Hospital has provided a Patient Guide to Herb and Supplement Use. I used Feverfew many years ago, unfortunately it did not help.
