migraine advert

I spotted an advert on a bus shelter today that said something about migraine not having to be a life sentence. I think it was by Allergan who produce botox.

Was driving at the time and trying to avoid getting caught in a bus lane so I didn't get a good look, but wondered if anyone else has seen them around the UK? Thought it was interesting to see an ad for something that you can't just walk into a chemists and buy. But the "life sentence" bit rang true.

Haven't seen the ad myself, but I found it in a google search allergan.com/treatments/neu...

'to prevent headaches in adults with chronic migraine who have 15 or more days each month with headache lasting 4 or more hours each day in people 18 years or older'

Sounds like something I'd be interested in. I suppose the ad is a suggestion that you should ask your GP about it.
