Has anyone taken Amitriptyline 25mg..and have numbess and tingling in arms?

I was on that dose and was like a zombie with dementia but don’t remember having numbness or tingling. Everyone react differently to these drugs

Yes! Hated these tablets. I was prescribed them years ago when my daughter was young and they made me sleep so deeply that I didn't wake up when she cried! My husband wasn't impressed

They also made my hands, lips and feet very tingly. I also remember, when I did wake up at night to go to the toilet, if I moved my hands in front of my face I could see trails of them! I wouldn't have minded the side effects if they'd made my migraines go away but they didn't.

I'm using Zolmatriptan now and they really seem to work for me. I also have botox on the NHS every 14 weeks which has been life changing.

I recently read that these types of drugs can lead to dementia in the long term.

Hi, I have been on amitriptylene for 16 years and recently have started to get numbness and tremors in hand, arm. My doctor thinks it could be amit and has told me to wean off them.

Are you still getting numbness?
