Hi there

well you can go to the hospital but well as the system is set up it will be shared with your doctor, it may just be easier to go to another doctor in the surgery itself as well the people at the hospital dont have as much time, i know that i would tell them 2 sentences then they would rush off to deal with something else in fact i felt like i got more focus and attention from the family doctor.

Also they cant then tell your family they are under a oath so they wont tell your family if that is your concern, but they do have all your records and well if it were me i would go to my doctor and speak to them as i just feel safer in the small closed room than at the hospital sat on a chair in the middle of an open ward that is A & E

In the end i just hope that you find the strength to reach out and get the help you need and that is all that is important

Hi Vicky, you could try calling NHS Direct and seeing if there are any local services in your area you could speak to? You may fnid it easier to speak with someone over the phone perhaps, they could tell you what on offer x
