Hello pleased to meet you are you having problems.?

As with all medications are side effects and also some times takes a long time to kick in..

If you have a support worker health worker should be advising, offering more guidance to you.

If you do not have the following mental health charities.

If you live in the UK.

richmondfellowship.org.uk

mind.org.uk

rethink.org

Last one advocacy service if having problems GP.

Please have a look if not in this country have a look local communities services.

I know that the meds you are on are specifically used for your mental health condition that you have.

Please if I can help further please ask me any questions happy to answer if I can so, take care

Joeb

Personally, No, However we are all different when it comes down to medications. What suits one will not suit another Look on the NHS Information Site on the Web, Drugs A/Z

You can also enter the drug name on the web, you will also get information there. Also if in UK talk to your Therapist or Doctor for an explanation

Let us know how you get along with this drug, Allow five weeks to see how you are getting on. Are you living in the UK

Hi, yes, I've been on Olanzapine many times during bi-polar mania. It calms you down and helps you sleep better. It makes your mouth very dry though and also makes you sound a bit like you're drunk. Hope this helps. I didn't notice any other side effects apart from dry mouth and slurry speech. I would say it works well for mania. x

I've just been prescribed olanzapine 2.5 mgs for intrusive thoughts and few other issues. I've only had it since Friday and I've been afraid to try it.

Can I ask how you are doing with it? Thanks.
