Hello Daz2310,

Did you know that you can become addicted to Zopiclone if you take it for too long. I found it dif help initially but over time it wasn't as effective as it was in the beginning so the more often I took it, it stopped working and the dr said to stoo taking it and referred me to the local mental health team to access CBT

Cbt shit did nout for me and yes I no the issues with zopiclone been on them for years now

I think the zoplicone stopped working for you quite a long time ago. It doesn’t negate the fact that when you stopped it the withdrawals were there, and stopping it again you won’t have the same. Don’t double up on meds that don’t work, even if you can’t feel it, the meds are still flowing through your body (blood stream, liver, pancreas).

I’m one of those people that says, doing the same things over and over and expecting different results especially when meds stop working..it’s time for a change. Toxic effects of meds, especially with your health issues, downgrading of neurotransmitters in the brain is a thing. It took me a year to learn how to sleep again after meds, I got used to never having to think about how to fall asleep the med did that for me and then it stops working. Terrible being a slave to sleep meds.

I truly hope you find a way to sleep again, it’s terrible being sleep deprived, drives my anxiety through the roof too. Wishing you the best.

It would seem you have gone to bed too early, most adults require about for to six hours sleep. Also if your body is used to go to bed later that can further disrupt your sleep patern as you are use to go to bed at a later time. Your body has an internal clock, dogs etc are the same. People working shifts need to generally change their circadian body clock over several days or longer. I had the same type of problem when travelling through various time lines.
