Depo provera

Hello,

Has anyone else on the depo-provera shot noticed any changes in their health within a year of being on it? I have a feeling that could be causing me issues too.

I was on depo for 10 years on and off (had 2yr gap as suggested by Dr).

My only issues were weight gain & intermittent lack of sex drive. Not having periods was a major plus for me tho as I suffer really badly each month. I am now off it again as the weight gain was a major down point for me and I'm going to my brothers wedding in the Caribbean in November and I'm currently 2st heavier than I'd like to be thanks to depo.

I'm not sure what issues your noticing but if you want to talk further about it just shout.

Thanks for your reply. I have noticed that I have been having more acid reflux and increased anxiety. I was reading about depo and it said thst chest tightness was a side effect. I have noticed an increase in that too. I'm sorry that it's caused you problems.
