That's a really big question - obvious that something is wrong but it could be so many things.

May be this site might give you some answers - there's access to some on-line counselling as well which might help

Thanks, I really didn't know what to do...

Hello BOB here

You are so young, and you have a life full of promise, My family was very negative when I was young and in those days I felt that I was unable to find someone that could or would give assistance. Now things have changed and there are more people who will talk to you and give support.

You are saying that you are self harming, this can be a call for help, or you may want attention from the ones you love.

Sadly this seems hard to find.

You say you are not happy and loosing interest with your school and friends, are you feeling that the exams you are taking are not right for you,are the subjects not to your liking and the homework is taking too much of your time, you find there is no one to talk to. Are you been left behind ??

Now to start if you cannot talk to your family and now you are also feeling alienated from your friends. Try talking to childline they can give support. You could if you want talk to a teacher who you like. and trust.

One thing you could try is talk to your GP make a two session appointment, as you will need that extra time and explain there what your problems are, if you want take your mother with you although ask her just too listen to what the problems are. Parents can switch off or deny a problem when it is one of their own. They only want you to be happy.

If you need a chat there is someone here to chat and give support

All the best

BOB

Heya,

Sounds like there is definitely something wrong eh? Try not to lose interest in your friends it can make matters worse as you soon become lonely.

Is there someone you can talk too? Maybe in or out of school? I know I went to a volunteering counselling - which can be a hit and miss. Sometimes you get someone great others you get someone that just nods and says ''and that makes you sad?''.

Try speaking to your parents, friends, teachers or other family members if you can, the more support you have the better.

Also book an appointment with a doctor and discuss how you're feeling, they may be able to give you some more advice and help.

Hope you start to feel a bit better
