Hi, it is possible that having a vasectomy could be the reason for having a lump forming on your testicle. A closed ended vasectomy ( the most common ) means that the vas tube is sealed when cut and this can lead to a back up of sperm in the epididymis or vas tube below the sealed end. The hard lump formed is called a granuloma and it does sometimes need to be removed surgically if it doesn't subside. Often however within the first year after the snip you can get a temporary build up which does go away over time as the body readjusts and reabsorbs the excess sperm. When did you have the op and is the lump painful ?
