The cure for balanitis depends on its cause. I had it once and it was caused by the effects of a particular diabetes treatment. When I stopped using that drug it cleared up.

Best to get medical advice as it may need anti-bacterial and / or antifungal treatment, usually creams, to apply direct to the affected area. If it isn't too serious, coconut oil may help.
