Post ZSR Circumcision Complication

It's day 18 post ZSR Circumcision. The rings and staplers are still intact. It was healing well until 2 days ago I noticed the silicon ring on the left side of the penis is cutting through the skin. The ring is disappearing under the skin and it's painful in that part. Night Erections are making it more difficult. Is anyone experiencing the same? Every passing day the ring is cutting deep into the skin. The other side of the penis area is however healing well.

It would be sensible for your wound to be checked by your surgeon or a doctor.

I fixed an appointment with my surgeon in coming 3 days. I am worried that my condition will worsen till then. The silicon ring should have loosened by now but instead they have wrapped more tightly and cutting through the skin.

It happened with me also. The Ring goes under the skin because of swelling however i didn't have any pain. The silicon ring came off on day 18 for me. I just cleaned the scabs and now it looks good, clean straight incision. Wait for the ring to fall down, keep it dry and apply the ointment. It just needs time to heal

The problem started on day 15. The silicon ring kept slipping away from the initial position and is cutting through the soft skin and an edema has formed between the shaft and incision. I don't think the ring will fall off on its own. They are wrapped so tight around the penis. I have my appointment with my surgeon in 3 days and I am really worried for severe complications.

Normally when the incision starts to heal, the skin pushes the pins into the silicon ring. This way the silicon ring protects your glans from getting pricked by the pins. At least that's how it was for me. You have to avoid erections at all cost. For me the ring came out as one piece with all the pins stuck issue the ring. This is how it should be. Individual pins should not fall down separately. Keep it dry for now. Your doctor will give you a clear picture

I'm 32 days Post op and I still have swelling around the Corona. Looks like it might need at least 2 months to settle. Till then no sex no masturbation

So yesterday night, I ejaculated during sleep due to some erotic dream.. I did not have any pain later on. It's been 38 days Post circumcision.

On Day 26 I finally had my Silicon ring removed by the surgeon. He just pulled it off using his fingers... which I thought I could have done it myself too. Anyways, it was due to the night Erections the ring caused minor rupture on the new raw skin leading to some bleeding and edema formation. I am advised to apply antibiotics cream for few days, and told it will heal soon. Looking back, it seems the wound healed around week 2 and pushed away the ring and instead of coming off, it went buried in the newly formed skin causing pain and bleeding. I should have seen my surgeon much earlier. But I am glad everything is gonna be fine now. Will update again in 2 weeks.

Hello.. I had also done ZSR circumcision. In my case, the silicone ring alongwith the staples are not visible from the 7th day due to immense swelling of the lower part. The pain is though bearable.. The skin is tearing up and I am in dilemma. It's day 12 and there are no sign of the silicone ring being detached by its own. Still continuing with antibiotics, regular dressing and applying ointment. Please suggest something.
