ESA Medical Assessment

Hi,

I am due to attend a medical assessment on the 24th July with regard to claiming Employment Support Allownace. Does anyone have any experience of these assessments or any helpful advice as I have no idea what to expect and am quite anxipus about it all. Thanks x.

if you feel unsure, like all things in life, it helps to make a list and also a Q&A list, spo you know what what you want to ask, also take any paper work and NI number etc with you

and benefitsandwork co uk site thats a pay subscription site for full access but if you register its free they will send you loads of info / tips to the email you join with

the info they send is good

search on Consumer Action Group too

locally look at citizens advice and any local disability info service in the phone book or use google for help ring them only thing with these is they are very busy in these recession / debt / disability review times so you might not get a 1 to 1 appointment before your medical
