How I’ve felt better than I have in years

I have been struggling to find good care where I live. I found a doctor that I trust in giving me good advice but not a doctor that understands what I am actually goin through, I don’t think any doctor has taken the time to try to understand my illness. I have found a lot of really good online resources on how to combat an inflammation disorder which is what I have a lot of problems with now. I developed a paleo diet and in time of stress or flare up , I get more strict and follow an autoimmune protocol. I also take a lot of DHA tablets in order to help with my brain health. I have found a higher fat and lower carb/sugar diet really helps me feel more energetic and do things I couldn’t before. I would look up Dr.Kelly Brogan if you are looking for a plan and a way to get off s lot of medications , she helped me with getting off my anti depressants that a doctor put me on because of issues with pain management or Genius Foods is a good book to look at to eat for brain health. It has not healed me fully but it’s gotten me to a really good place. I think food can play a really big and positive role in healing.

Did you have headaches & if so has it helped with them?

I had headaches for 2 and a half years. I don’t have many anymore! I have them on occasion during times of stress which can make my symptoms come up again. I have found eating high fat and low carb helps with my brain health and headaches. I have found keeping stress levels down really helps too. But I have also been taking a high level of DHA and also magnesium and adrenal support vitamins. I think the high fat eating and anti inflammatory diet has really helped me a lot because I had debilitating headaches and symptoms. I was sleeping a lot and had neck and head pain almost on a daily basis up until now....
