Dad in ICU

Hi I am very worried for my dad hes been in the icu for 2 days now in a coma his accident happend 3 days ago when he was working he fell off a 6ft ladder by having a heart attack cracked his head on concrete.They did surgery for the blood clot in his brain but nothing worked hes very healthy very strong kidneys everything fight hes warm in upper body cold lower body. Doctor says he has low chance of survivol but i dont believe it so i want to know will he ne able to survive this and is 2 days in icu too soon? thanks

So very sorry to hear what has happened to your dad. Has he also contracted Meningitis? He has sustained a traumatic brain injury from the fall so you may find the HealthUnlocked Headway forum helpful as well as Headway is the organisation for people with a brain injury. Drs will always give the worse outcome possibility because not even the specialists will be able to predict the outcome as everyone's recovery can vary so much and although there is the possibility your dad may not survive some people do defeat the odds and have som recovery.

Dear don't worry he will definitely come out talk to you soon. I pray for his good health. I have had gone through the same situation in 2013 while my kids admitted me in AIIMS, India in brain dead condition. Now I have come over all the problems.
