CranioSacral Therapy / Viral meningitis after effects.

It's a delicate massage at the back of the head and neck.

I had 1 session, and have had a huge improvement on my daily head cramps/ head aches. The massage helps the flow of your muscle and the spinal /brain fluid.

The Osteopath said that mine was very stiff and she had activated it, to help the flow.

I require 3 more sessions and maybe a few more, but no more than that. Hopefully the next sessions might help with the major symptoms.

Everyone is different, but it really has helped me from the viral meningitis attack last year in july.

I only wish I went sooner.

I looked for the most experienced CranioSacral Therapy in the area. Which for me is in Denmark.

If you haven't tried it, then you won't loose anything trying it for yourself!

I am about to begin a course as a pilot research study to see what the effect of Sacrocranial therapy on viral meningitis sufferers is,and so very interested to see if it is as positive for me as for you .

Hi Caroline,

I am just coming across your post 2 years later, can you update us whether it helped?

Thank you, RestIsBest, for taking the time to share this with us, picture and all! I have been thinking about doing the same (I am in the USA) and it is good to hear that it helped somebody. My headaches went away almost entirely at 6 months. I don't know if it was time or acupuncture that helped. Now 16 months later, they seem to be coming back slightly so I think it is time to try something again!

I had cranial osteo as after 3 months I was still feeling the pressure building up in my head and getting crippling headaches. I was so relieved that she was able to explain to me what was happening inside my head and how she could help. It was such a positive experience for me.

I have had great results with both cranial osteopathy AND craniosacral therapy. Sometimes they are the only relief I get. ;)

Yes sorry , it is CranioSacral Therapy which I meant. I haven't tried cranial Osteopathy. What is that one like mishqueen?

They are two different massage modalities, that approach the same problem in different ways. Whichever one your MT is better at, do that. 😉 The skill level of the MT matters a lot. Mine is so innately gifted, I feel very lucky. Too bad she doesn't take my insurance...*ouch*
