I am recovering from vm, which started 2 weeks ago. I have got over the worst but still very dizzy/light headed most of the time. I'm taking medication for this which helps.
However due to fly Monday 18th and uncertain whether flying will cause any problems.
any advice?

Think you should ask the hospital Dr you were under or your GP for advice. Think it will depend on how ill you've been, how long in hospital and also if it is a short flight or longer.
I agree with strawberry cream. Although if you even feel up to flying I think that's pretty amazing! I could hardly take a shows after two weeks! Hope you have a speedy and full recovery!
It generally is how you feel in your self, I would certainly check with your GP . I had viral M July 15 I was very ill and was in hospital for 7 days and was unable to get out of bed for 5 weeks . I am still on meds and still suffering with memory ,balance tiredness headaches Along side with other effects it has left me with so for two weeks that's amazing recovery .
Hello Beeppuss, I would def consult with your medical team before flying. I am a corporate flight attendent & 2.5 years post VM. At times when fatigued, I still have flare ups from virus. Flying def has an adverse effect on your nervous system. If you are only 2 weeks past VM & are feeling this well, count your blessings. I didn't fly for 3 months after diagnosis .
I had a holiday booked , 10 weeks after having VM .Decided to go so as not to let family down , found my headache increased while on plane but was ok could deal with it ,felt very tired after it . Hope it works out for you !
