When a person has deputyship granted by court of protection. Is it hard to reverse?

I have a deputyship and social services look after my money. My LD community nurse thinks I lack capacity with my money so won't let me have another capacity assessment by a psychologist, the last psychologist said I lacked capacity as well she thought I wouldnt gain more capacity as she said I was at the top level of my capacity. So social services manage my money. I read somewhere that once you've had a capacity assessment and you have a LD they won't do anymore as they think your capacity won't improve? Is this true? Even with a LD and I have a severe mental illness called schizoaffective disorder and my capacity does go down hill. Does the deputyship have to remain in place forever or should I still be tested?
