Care agencies

Hi

I'm wanting to find a good care agency in North Yorkshire that can provide carers to support my daughter who has learning disabilities. The care would consist of taking her out to various activities including day services and providing support there. I've done some research already using CQC etc but if anyone has any positive experiences with agencies it would be great to hear them.

She currently has a carer from an agency based in Darlington which is really good but I'm looking to cover more hours using a different agency possibly.

Thanks

Hi there, I’m not based in your area and unfortunately don’t have any direct advice to give to you, so for now, I would recommend reaching out to Mencap’s Learning Disability Helpline at 0808 808 1111 or email helpline@mencap.org.uk as they will be able to give you some guidance on the paths you can go down. Wishing you and your daughter the best :)
