I wanted to ask about Care plans and who should write them and how to ensure the care team & staff follow them.
I wrote extensive plans previously the care team ignored it all .... a new team have advised they will write this one .. I didn't ask them too. I can amend it /add to it but in the end how can I ensure it's recognised.
I believe it's the service spec that holds the weight on delivery.
Any ideas ? Am i wrong ??

It is the home’s responsibility to write the care plan but I don’t know why you can’t discuss things with them and see if you can come to an agreement. If your loved one is 18 and over get a deputyship if they lack mental capacity as it can be really scary when they become this age as they can get swept up in the system and your voice no longer counts for much.
