my sister just turned 58 and sadly is showing suffering from mild dementia… she still enjoys her life in her supported living house but conversation with her is very repetitive these days. I’m wondering if this is a very common thing with Down’s and any advice ?

speak to the mencap helpline and dementia uk they will be able to advice you or the Downes society charity they’re your best avenues to go down.

Hello, yes it is more common in people with Down’s Syndrome. Speak to the Down’s syndrome association. They have a helpline.
It is more common in people with Downs and occurs earlier, maybe get in touch with Dementia Uk Or the Alzheimer’s society
