Amending existing Deputyship order

My ex has a deputyship order for our son, who has limited capacity. I'm excluded from helping him make any financial decisions. I'd like the current order to be updated with my name added. Two questions:* Which of the CoP application forms do I need to submit?

* At what point do I need to notify the people I have listed on the form (incl my ex)?

Hi Roebuck789 , thanks for your message. We have an expert event running at the moment with Kirsty Stuart, an associate solicitor from Irwin Mitchell who may be able to answer your question. I'll pop a link to your posts in the expert thread (at healthunlocked.com/mencap/p... if you'd like to take a look).

Kirsty will be popping in and out this week replying to messages, so I'm sure she'll pick up your questions when she can.
